Bix uses Stripe, the world’s leading payment platform, to enable online payments for your organisation. To start taking payment for your bookings, you first need to complete the Stripe onboarding. Generally speaking, this process usually takes around 5-10 minutes to complete.
Open Settings → Payments.
Select Start Stripe Onboarding.
Complete the verification form. You can leave & return at any time, with your progress saved, should you need to find any organisation details.
When Stripe onboarding is complete, you're fully set up to accept payments and receive payouts. In Australia and New Zealand you don't even have to wait - you can publish paid events and take bookings while verification is still underway. See Held charges and pre-verification.
Please note, Stripe onboarding is not required should you wish to publish free events.
